Marie got her first taste for politics when her mom took her to protest George Wallace in their Alabama hometown. After that she was hooked.  Marie began as a grassroots organizer and field staffer.  She then became a public opinion pollster and statistics consultant for some of the top races in the country.  She further honed those skills into an expertise for micro and macro precinct-level targeting.  For the past 10 years, she combined all of those skills as a direct mail consultant and becoming an expert at GOTV programs. In a country where so many elections are won at the margins, Marie is obsessed with everything GOTV – testing, analysis, methods, timing, targeting. Marie has her M.A. in Political Science, but more importantly spent decades working on campaigns across the country, from local labor initiatives to U.S. Senate races, communicating with voters. Marie lives in D.C. with her wife, daughter, and searches for fried okra and bluegrass jams when able.
