Our team

Garrett began his political journey in Southern Democratic politics. He then moved to the United States Senate — first as a body man for Senator Doug Jones before transitioning to national security and defense policy in his office. From the Hill, Garrett dabbled in a couple more federal races before retiring from the campaign trail. Since starting at Pivot in 2020, Garrett has provided direct mail and general comms strategy for campaigns up and down the ballot, including city council, State Legislature, and Congressional races. He has extensive experience on the IE side and has also served as Chief of Staff for a Pivot client.
